The Alcoholic Beverage Regulation Administration operates the following programs:

Adjudication

This division supports the ABC Board's adjudication function by performing administrative duties and informing licensees, Advisory Neighborhood Commissions, and the public about the protest process. The staff monitors the status of protest hearings and voluntary/cooperative agreements and notifies the parties and the public of ABC Board decisions.

The Adjudication staff works in conjunction with the General Counsel and staff to ensure the enactment of the ABC Board decisions and Orders. In addition, staff works with the Compliance/Enforcement Staff to ensure that reports are submitted in a timely fashion and are prepared to testify at Board hearings.

The key initiative for the adjudication program is to continue the development of a process that ensures compliance with Title 25 of the official DC Code and Title 23 of the District of Columbia's Municipal Regulations.
